If you like the sky, or like getting close to the sky, paragliding is an activity that every person who yearns to fly must experience once in his or her lifetime. It is a dream journey. Paragliding is divided into experience and competition. Novice experience does not require professional knowledge. You only need to follow the coach’s instructions, run to the edge of the cliff with a bit of effort, and jump. As you follow the airflow to drive the paraglider up and down, you will be able to fly freely in the air while being led by the wind.

Luye Highland is Taitung’s treasure spot for paragliders. Luye Highland has two main flight areas. The first flight area is to fly directly from the plateau at Luye Highland, and the second flight area is located at 916 meters above sea-level at Taiping Mountain – the highest paragliding departure point in Taiwan.
